Great read and if enshrining private mempools is a good idea aside, TEEs != SGX.
Examples of other TEEs are AMD's SEV, AWS's Nitro Enclaves, etc. As long as the protocol TEEs are using have a 1-of-N trust assumption, there isn't really a dependency on a single manufacturer.
